 WILL THE HANDSHAKE 🤝EVER BECOME OBSOLETE

  Hi there, welcome to my blogspot. I’m as psyched as you’re to begin this wonderful journey, I’d attribute this new found love for writing to; inmyopinionbygb.blogspot.com and  lailaholayiwola.blogspot.com they really ignited the writing spirit in me so I’ll gladly take any constructive criticism I can get from my readers.

   The choice of topic is rather odd but as I couldn’t think of a more challenging first topic to write about even after so much enthusiasm towards this new found love, and after so much thinking I got stuck on this topic and as odd as the topic might be- “Will the handshake 🤝ever become obsolete” it is actually worth discussing, because if you look around you will actually see that people are actually giving little regard to the social distancing measures and guidelines.

   It all started during the day when I went out to meet my friends, I got there, we greeted one another, it then hit me that even with the outbreak of corona virus 🦠that has plagued us and how we’ve been urged to avoid handshakes 🤝and stick to waving or fist bumping 👊🏾, I think we still have a long way to go before we can really get use to those new measures instead of just shaking hands. And it is because the very first thing that comes to mind when we see our friends is to stick out our hands and shake them. When I’m with my guys(male friends), the first things that comes to mind is to shake hands with them and at times when I remember and try to bump hands with them, they just go with the hand shake so I’m forced to just shake their hand to make it less awkward.

   Well you might say I’m the only one who still shake hands or that people at my end don’t try to curb the habit of shaking hands, but even on the Telly you still see people shaking hands. And I know most of you guys still shake hands and there is my point that “the handshake” can never become obsolete as it has become an involuntary action that even when we try to avoid or stop it, we just keep on doing it over and over again. 

 But again I would like to know what you think about the topic; “Will the handshake 🤝ever become obsolete “ ?
